Tolan Barker is the only son of Lenore Barker. He was with the Young Tribulation Force at the schoolhouse and was with them later in Palos Hills, Illinois, during the second coming of Jesus.

After the Rapture[]
Tolan was born during an unknown point in the Tribulation. Tolan's father, Tim Barker, tried to find food for Lenore and Tolan during the fourth trumpet judgment when he froze to death. Lenore and Tolan were standing with anxiety and fear until they ran into Janie McCanyon, who told Lenore and Tolan about the schoolhouse. Later, during the fifth trumpet judgment, the locusts tried to attack Tolan, but since Tolan was only a baby, the locusts were forced to retreat. Lenore almost got stung, but prayed to become a believer after Vicki Byrne prayed for the locusts to leave Lenore and Tolan alone.
