Actually the U.S. can be found in the book of Daniel, Ezekiel, Isaiah--(NIV) and Revelations also our first President George Washington had experienced a vision from God Almighty which he called the Sons of the Republic, which is really referring to that the U.S., Israel & Jordan will escape from the GC's control and become harbors of safety during the mist of the storm called the Great Tribulation...because that's what the bible really says. Not every nation will be under lockstep! (There is hope for America!)
