Shelly Malloy was one of Vicki Byrne's friends when they lived in the camp before the Rapture. They were split up when the Rapture happened, so when Vicki found her again, she got her to convert to Christianity. She tried to kill herself by ingesting a bottle of sleeping pills, but she became interested in Christianity because she read The Underground Newspaper. She has a furious crush on Conrad Graham.
