Principal Winkler was the principal of Global Community Middle School. He was a minor antagonist in Volume 2 of the dramatic audio presentation.

- Principal Winkler doesn't appear in the books, but does appear in the Dramatic Audio presentation of the Left Behind: The Kids series.
- Winkler's first name was not revealed.
- Winkler stated that most of his middle school students were taken in the Rapture.
- Laverne Jenness came to Winkler, asking him for advice on how to brainwash students.
- It can be assumed that Winkler had instructed teachers at Global Community Middle School to brainwash their students by having them believe that nuclear radiation was behind the disappearances.
- It is unknown, but possible, that Winkler may have died in the Wrath of the Lamb earthquake, as Shelly Malloy said most of the students and staff at Global Community Middle School that survived the earthquake were on a field trip.
