Ominous Choices

Ominous Choices is the thirty-sixth book in the Left Behind: The Kids series, by Jerry B. Jenkins, Tim LaHaye, with contributions from Chris Fabry. It was originally released in May of 2004. This novella along with two others were later released in the compilation volume, Hunted (Left Behind: The Kids).

In New Babylon, Chang Wong notices strange reports and wonders how this coming disaster will affect the Young Tribulation Force.

A 2 year jump takes place in this book. When Lionel Washington's arm is trapped under a boulder, it is 4 years after the disappearances. When Judd Thompson Jr. and Lionel are in Ohio in the fifteenth chapter, "Heat Wave", it is 5 years after the disappearances.
Even though Carl Meninger is still alive, his name is removed from the intro. The Southern Contigent section of Young Tribulation Force members is completely taken out of the introduction because of the deaths of Tom Gowin and Luke Gowin in book 35, The Rise of False Messiahs.
One of the only two circumstances when a Carpathianist is seen helping believers. The other circumstance is in book 38, The Perils of Love when Nicolae Carpathia's secretary Krystall Carney is feeding Otto Weser information about Chloe Williams and the Global Community in New Babylon.
Chad Harris reveals to Vicki Byrne that Kelly Bradshaw was caught and executed by the Global Community.
