Mr. Marid was the father of Qasim Marid, one of the members of the The Other Light. He was mentioned by Qasim during his interview with Raymie Steele when he tried to join the Millennium Force. Qasim was able to repeat the phrase "seen my need" to refer to Christianity's doctrine of recognizing that one is a sinner before God and that one needs a savior to be reconciled to God because one's actions are insufficient for being righteous before God.
He lived through the Tribulation and became saved. If he had been an unbeliever who survived to the Glorious Appearing, he would have perished to perdition in the sheep and goats judgment.
If Qasim is not lying about his father's beliefs, he is a Christian. If he is a Christian, it is unknown whether he is a natural or a glorified because if he is a glorified, he would have died before the Glorious Appearing after siring Qasim. The question of whether Qasim was born during the Tribulation is indeterminate. Qasim said that he is friends with Zaki Ababneh for ninety years. Most of Kingdom Come occurs 93 years into the Millennium, so it is likely that Qasim had met Zaki shortly after the Glorious Appearing. If Qasim was born after the Glorious Appearing, the oldest he could have been when he met Zaki is three years old if Qasim did not round up when he said "ninety years".
