Left Behind Wiki

Marjorie Amherst was a teenager at Nicolae Carpathia High School. She graduated as the class Valedictorian, beating Judd Thompson Jr. in the process. Marjorie fainted before she could give her speech. Sometime after this, both of her parents are killed in God's judgments. She becomes a Morale Monitor and briefly spoke to Vicki Byrne during the meeting of the satellite schools. She accidentally gets taken to the schoolhouse when Mark Eisman steals a satellite truck, and she is lying unconscious in the back. Vicki talks with her about Jesus and prays the prayer, but Marjorie doesn't truly believe. The kids end up spiking her lemonade and drive her into town where they leave her for the Global Community to find.

She said she was an only child. While she was checking people in and screening them for the satellite school, Vicki mentioned what had happened during the commencement ceremony. Vicki also said that the "Judd guy" had ruined it, referring to the speech where he preached the Gospel.

It is unknown about what happened to Marjorie after this. Either she thought more about what Vicki said and became a believer in Christ, or she stayed with the GC and took the mark of loyalty.
