Jake was one of the boys forced to join a Morale Monitor camp in the southern part of the United States. Jake was in the same van that transported Young Tribulation Force member Lionel Washington to that camp.

By book 11, Jake had lost every member of his family. Jake had probably been snatched off the streets in order to be forced into service for the Global Community. Jake's fate after the Wrath Of The Lamb earthquake is unknown. It is possible Jake became a believer, but this is unknown.
