A homosexual is a person who is attracted to a member of the same sex. The Bible considers this to be an abomination to God, as the verses Leviticus 18:22 and 1st Corinthians 6:9-10 point out. Not all people who call themselves Christians in the modern age believe that this applies to people within the New Covenant dispensation period, with their reasoning being that Jesus said nothing in the Gospels concerning homosexuality, although He did speak out in general against sexual immorality.

Some Bible eschatology students believe that the forthcoming Antichrist will be homosexual due to their interpretation of the King James Version rendering of Daniel 11:37, a verse commonly used as one referring to the Antichrist:

Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all.

In the Left Behind series, the Antichrist Nicolae Carpathia does have a sexual relationship with Hattie Durham outside of marriage which only lasts for about 21 months from the beginning of the Tribulation. None of the books show Nicolae having any other relationships or for that matter close friendships; given Nicolae's dismissive attitude towards Hattie when she fails to give him an heir, it is entirely possible that he simply wanted to use her to procure offspring and begin a dynasty. It is unknown why he did not use the same technology that gave birth to him, or whether he had any other heterosexual or homosexual relationships.

In the Left Behind adult books, there are three confirmed homosexual characters: Sorin Carpathia and Baduna Marius, Nicolae's genetic fathers, and Verna Zee. Unfortunately, all three characters met terrible fates -- Sorin and Baduna were both murdered, and Verna perished in the Wrath Of The Lamb earthquake. In the children's books, Z-Van is implied to be fluid about his sexuality, or at least pretending to be so for media image reasons. In the Dramatic Audio presentation, Guy Blod is heavily implied to be homosexual due to his stereotypical mannerisms.

It is reasonable to assume that those who survive the Sheep and Goats Judgment are heterosexual or asexual. Whether any homosexuals emerged during the time of the Millennial Kingdom is unknown.
