Hell (called Sheol in the Hebrew and Hades in the Greek) is the place where all the dead who are not saved go to before they are resurrected unto judgment and cast into the Lake of Fire. In Scripture, it says that Hell follows the fourth Horseman (Death) in the fourth Seal Judgment.
When Vicki Byrne was in town during the heat plague to find Ryan Victor Fogarty who was kidnapped by Cheryl Tiffane, she felt like she was walking through a fiery furnace, like Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego of the Book of Daniel. Vicki could not help but think about hell. Her impression of the world under the heat plague made her more convinced that hell had to exist. The narrative also said that Vicki was more convinced that the Bible is true because of this, indicating that the authors think that the Bible does testify to hell's existence.
At Cendrillon Jospin's funeral in the Millennial Kingdom, Cameron Williams said:
- “Should you leave here today without acknowledging Jesus, do not say you haven’t been warned that you will not survive your hundredth birthday and that you will suffer needlessly for eternity.”
Ironically, that can be eisegetically construed as an admission that torment in the Lake of Fire is needless suffering, especially when an omnipotent God can prevent that needless suffering by extinguishing the consciousness of a reprobate soul. "Needless" can also refer that one's suffering is not necessary or determined because one has the freedom to repent and avoid that fate. The context that Cameron said "needlessly" most likely refers to the latter interpretation, not as an indictment on the justice of eternal torment or characteristics of God.
