Gustaf Zuckermandel, Jr. (also called Z or Zeke) became a believer and a member of the Tribulation Force. He is a master of creating disguises and fake IDs. He and his father Gustaf Zuckermandel, Sr. had run a black market gas station when the Global Community took his father (known as Big Zeke) into custody for selling gasoline without a license. When the "mark of loyalty" was being tested out on prisoners, Gustaf Sr. became a martyr by refusing to accept the mark, already having become a believer. When Cameron Williams came to transport him to the Tribulation Force safe house in the Strong Building, Zeke blew up the gas station to prevent the Global Community from finding any evidence about their other activities. For a few years in the latter half of the Tribulation, Zeke studied the Bible and worked as an assistant pastor to an underground church in Wisconsin before being called back to duty by the Tribulation Force in Petra. It is assumed that they were both reunited at the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. In Kingdom Come, Zeke became a farmer in Albania and heads a ministry called For The Undecided.
