Global Weekly was the magazine Buck Williams wrote for, before Nicolae Carpathia took total control of all media outlets, changing the magazine name to Global Community Weekly. Other people who worked for this magazine include Steve Plank, Jim Borland, Stanton Bailey, Barbara Donahue,Lucinda Washington, Marge Potter, Verna Zee, Juan Ortiz, and Alice Nelson.
In the original film trilogy and the reboot, it has been changed to a news television company called Global News Network where Buck and other staff are either reporters or office staff.
