Biography[]
After the Rapture[]
David was one of the few believers working for the GC in New Babylon. He was one of the moles who delivered important information from Nicolae Carpathia's office to the Tribulation Force members worldwide. He fell in love with Annie Christopher, who was the Phoenix 216's cargo chief. During Carpathia's memorial service where he had risen from the dead, David was trying to find Annie when he passed out from heat exhaustion, causing a flesh wound to his head as he fell. He was revived and stitched up by Hannah Palemoon, who revealed to him that Annie was killed by the lightning strike Leon Fortunato had called down upon any who would not worship the image of Carpathia. He also had the ignominious distinction of vomiting over Nicolae Carpathia and fainting during the conclusion of a staff meeting about the introduction and implementation of the "mark of loyalty" system and its enforcement mechanisms when the participants were asked to kneel before the resurrected Carpathia after the meeting adjourned.
Upon discovering that all Global Community employees in New Babylon had to take the "mark of loyalty" within 30 days, David along with Hannah, Mac McCullum, and Abdullah Smith engineered an escape plan that would make the Global Community assume that they were dead while they went into hiding. Before the plan was carried out, David helped Chang Wong transition into his role as the new "inside man" since Chang had the cover of a loyal Carpathianist employee as he had the mark of Carpathia imposed upon him against his will. In Petra, David helped set up the tech center that would be used by the refugees when he was killed by two MIA Global Community soldiers.
David was resurrected at the Glorious Appearing, and later made a brief appearance at Mac's 1000th birthday party.
