Cal Trachsel was Global Community Peacekeeper, and partner of Tom Fogarty.
He had taken the mark of loyalty on the back of his hand and tried to convince Tom to do the same in order to avoid execution. Instead Tom deserted his post, and became a believer in God. Cal called Tom Fogarty to tell him that the Global Community was picking up off-duty officers to receive the mark of loyalty, and Tom took that as a warning to escape with the Young Tribulation Force.
It is unknown what happened to Cal after this.
